Things People Say: Poker Face
Monday, November 16, 2009 5:33 PM
Living in New York City, I get hit with a LOT of random things that people say to me. Some of them are hilarious, while many of them are offending. Most of them leave me with a blank stare on my face.
So. I figured I'll make this a reoccurring theme on my blog, and post whenever someone says something ridiculously random or funny to me, or about me. =) Let's start off with this ...
Yesterday I was hit with ...
"You should write fiction novels because you're a great liar. You'd make a lot of money"
... wtf ? lol. I somewhat appreciated that .. but a great liar ?? Yes, I can lie with a straight face. A VERY straight face ..
but it was one of those situations where I was making a story about someone, and of course it was a rumor ...
but technically I wasn't really starting the rumor. I was just being funny .. then they hit me with that comment. I find it hilarious and offensive. But hey, it's a NYC moment right ? HaHa !!
